Strong brand. Strong website.

We set the scene for HEM petrol stations - with an attractive, modern look. The website convinces with its design, is upwardly responsive and offers a microsite for each of the several hundreds of petrol stations.
In 2016, we relaunched the website of the petrol station brand HEM. convinces creatively through large-size motifs of brand, product portfolio, employees, and petrol stations that were created specifically for the new website. Animated infographics visualise HEM's success course in Germany. The people behind HEM are shown with video portraits.

Users can find a HEM petrol station near them with the station finder, including information about current prices, opening hours, and additional services. If a customer is looking for a special service like a car wash, or the Bistro Vital, a parcel counter, or an ATM he can select this service with a checkbox. Even details like the offer of crushed ice can be filtered. The most fitting stations are shown in Google Maps, together with an integrated route planner.

Technological basis is the Sitecore Experience Platform. We connected the Sitecore content management component with the Google Maps API and the backend system of HEM. Data are transferred to the website automatically; manual action is not necessary any more.

The new HEM website is optimised for mobile devices, including the new forms for ordering loyalty cards etc. A special feature: the website is not only optimised for small displays (e. g. smartphones or tablets) but also "upwardly" for bigger displays (e. g. Smart TVs). As passionate pioneers we now and again look at real innovations like "upwardly webdesign".

Also new are the pages for the nearly 400 individual petrol station that we implemented with Sitecore as multi-microsites with underlying content logic. Service station partners can change certain parts of their page on their own, like the large scale images or individual offers.
