Digital Revolution in Soccer

It’s kick-off for QUIPE, the new rating platform for athletes. Designed for iOS and Android, this web app revolutionises the training of young talents.
Our experts supported the start-up QUIPE in agile sprints with strategy, design, and technical realisation of their mobile rating platform for soccer and other sports. We conceived the project from the very start, together with our clients. From colour selection and logo to QUIPE Index and UI elements of website and app. At the end of 2017, the app was launched for Android and iOS. The peer feedback (coaches who use the app) is analysed regularly and leads to constant evolution of functionality and usability.

Core of the software is the QUIPE-Index that was developed with the aid of sports science. With this unique index, players and teams can be compared directly. Each player keeps his individual score for his whole career. The QUIPE-Score represents the current performance of the player and integrates all influences. With QUIPE, intensive training centres for young talents now get a solution that enables further professionalisation through comparable data.

Even the technology inspires: We used the open source mobile development framework Apache Cordova as technological basis. The back-end was build with .NET and MS SQL servers as well as MongoDB – a high performance solution. For data handling, Nhibernate is used as ORM framework. The front end user interface is realised via Vue.js.

Award-winning design

Quipe was awarded with the design award LISA18. This award was given for the excellent design of the app and the high quality in the cooperation between designers and clients.
„Together with our partner netzkern, we want to revolutionise the training of new players in soccer. Our app helps clubs to identify potential, to train players more efficiently, and to better predict development. QUIPE will be the game changer in international soccer training: for players, for coaches, for clubs.“
