In 2016 we launched the central website for the sports sponsoring activities for the German insurer as Sitecore lead agency of the Zurich Gruppe Deutschland. The focus of the web site was the Olympics.
Zurich.de/sports is the central platform for digital activities around sports. The website expresses the attachment of the Zurich Gruppe Deutschland with amateur and top-class sport.
Thousands of users got their coverage about current Olympic events and took part in a competition on the website that was designed by our digital experts in few weeks. The technical basis was the Sitecore Experience Platform that is also used for Zurich.de and da-direkt.de.

A major challenge in creating Zurich.de/sports was to combine a sporty touch with the strict corporate design of the Zurich Group. Our designs included various content elements that offer information and entertainment and also contribute to the excellent usability of the website. A specifically developed dramatic composition provided alternations for the content. So, before the start of the Olympics, the website featured forecasts and interviews; during the games, current coverage and the current news and a competition element to engage with the audience.
